Urban Commuter: This is a half-day (4hr) training course for scooter and low powered motorcycle riders, who wish to improve their commuting riding skills in urban environments.

This course will cost you $20.

You MUST have a MINIMUM of a Class 6L (Motorcycle Learners) to attend this course.

 

The training is aimed at motorcycle riders whose riding is primarily commuting in urban environments and traffic. New motorcycle riders looking to build early skills and confidence will also find this course valuable.

 

This course is conducted on urban roads and includes opportunities for riders to interact with medium to heavy traffic flows.

The course includes such things as:

• road positioning to see and be seen

• safe and effective braking

• dealing with traffic

• cornering

Urban Commuter: Riders can take this course once in any 12 month period.

You will need to provide your own bike, however we do have a some bikes available if needed (Pukekohe and West Auckland only)
